This gives us solid, practical knowledge which is reflected in our consulting services and project management skill.

In addition to projects in Germany and Europe, the focus of our consulting activities is on projects at "challenging" locations, such as outside Europe and offshore. In particular, our offshore know-how is based on our work as the main consultant in the realization of the “Sandbank” offhore wind farm project, but also on detailed assessments and due diligence investigations of numerous other projects. The resulting expertise makes Overspeed a strong partner with regard to planning and developing, but also for the Due Diligence for the financing and acquisition of offshore wind farms.

Probability and uncertainty analyses are a common factor for the evaluation of wind potential estimations. The reliable calculation of yields with defined exceedance probabilities such as P75 or P90 is based on a detailed analysis of the uncertainties of the underlying parameters such as measurement accuracy, complexity of the modeling of the wind field at the site, and  long-term uncertainty.
